The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013 has created a comprehensive preventive and redressal system for dealing with the challenging issue of sexual harassment. Sexual Harassment at workplace is has emerged as one of the most significant deterrents to a healthy work environment.

Several obligations have been imposed upon the employers under the Sexual Harassment Act such as duty to constitute an ICC, duty to train the ICC, duty to conduct awareness and sensitization workshops for its employees and to create a sexual harassment policy.
